On this particular day, he was refusing to get out of the vent after climbing in he only climbed up toward another vent in the bathroom. Since Honey Bunny had been overweight since he was one year old, he only ate light cat food. He had always done it, so Judy had never thought much of it until this particular weekend. One of his more eccentric habits was climbing down into the house's HVAC vents to try to go on an adventure through the ductwork. She had taken Honey Bunny in when she saw that someone had dumped him from a car, and he was normally a very well-behaved cat, but tended to play and wrestle hard and be the troublemaker of her household. Since adopting her cats, Judy had become a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady, regularly buying cat-related clothing and gifts for herself. Judy Keane of Bowie, Maryland owned three cats and two dogs, so she was used to each of their individual quirks especially one of the cats, Honey Bunny, until one weekend in April 1994 when it proved to be beyond her control.
